Hello all, if anyone is interested I’m posti

ng my edit for an EMD 567! I’ve also added my edit to the horn and bell. I’m a bit of a perfectionist and of course these aren’t that but to my ears I’m pretty happy with them. I wanted to do something a bit different with the horn, so the file is comprised of a short blast followed by a short pause followed by a long blast. I wanted the ability to do both short and long blasts from the LocoFi app so I set the “loop” portion of the horn txt file to the pause in between the short and long blasts. The result is a single horn press gives you first the short blast and then the long blast.(entire file) However a press and hold of the horn on the app results in only the short blast and the long blast only happens once you release the horn button. Plus you can keep getting the short blast if after a press-and-hold you simply, release then press and hold again. Anyway its a little different but heck, why not? 🙂

Cheers

Wow! Pretty cool. Love the new way horn is done. Thank you for sharing the nice prime mover sounds that can go for many locos including F9, GP9, SW1200, GP20, GP35, etc. to name a few.

@Admin

Thanks! I may revisit these sounds as I find new ways to refine them. I really enjoy sound editing and I will probably create more as time goes on!
