As far as a battery powered LocoFi™ module is concerned, you get the optimum performance with battery power as there is no more dealing with dirty track issues or wiring in general. We’ve demonstrated the deadrail operation in the following two videos:
We are aware of several customers who are using a deadrail setup for HO, we invite them to share whatever information they can that can be helpful to others.
