 The module is Velcroed to a bit of the raised side on the tender frame.

The speaker is Velcroed in.

The rear, painted orangish, LED is in its bracket with a spot of hot glue holding its wires in place.

The motor wires are connected to the original connector to the motor in the loco.

The white and blue LED wires come from the front of the loco, under the boiler and exit through the cab to the tender.

 The black wires, running under the boiler, were used for the front LED extension wires and can be seen running under the text noting “LED Wires”.

 3 Efest IMR 10440 size 350mAh batteries are shown installed in a 3 AAA battery box. That type of battery box is used for small tactical flashlights

 The loco is waiting for the LocoFi App to be started, and then set on the track for an hour, or less if I don’t won’t to go that long, running session.

The loco can be seen running in my other International Hobby Corporation (IHC) 2-8-0 Consolidation post.

Awesome! Thanks for sharing the install pictures!

Curious about the front LED, is it installed externally that you didn’t have to open the shell?

The LED was painted. The original light hole, in the front of the loco, was drilled out to the next size. The black wires were solded to the LED with a piece of tape on the positive black wire to identify it. The LED leads were shortened before the wires were attached. The shortened LED leads, with the wires attached, were bent down and exit a hole/slot new the front and run under the boiler. The boiler is completely filled with a cylindrical weight. I did try to feed the wires through the boiler, but the weight wouldn’t allow for that. The weight is quite massive! I did have to remove the shell to access the wires, lubricate the motor and run the wires through the cab.

@Ken Myers

Got it! Interesting! That should be helpful for anyone doing a similar install.

That loco model was probably built somewhere around 2005/2006, as IHC went out of business in 2010 when its owner retired. While not super scale, it’s plenty good enough for me, and the quality was very good. It was built in Slovania. It appeared to be new, in the box, when I received it from an Ebay seller. Really not bad at all for $75.00/
